If you're using a sensor mouse (the ones with the red light under it rather than a ball) I think I know why the mouse jumps acress the screen. It could be to do with the mousepad, or the surface you use your mouse on. If you have a pad with colours that stand out from each other far too much (like a cartoon with thick black lines for the border of it) the mouse gets confuzed. lol. That's what happened to me. I changed the mousepad to one with subtler colours and it was fine. ^_^ The pictures great tho. ^_^
